All of us have faith in many things. Maybe you have faith in God, maybe you believe that the earth is eternal, possibly you have faith that the sun will shine tomorrow morning.

You most definitely have beliefs about yourself: You could believe that you are a talented performer or a good golfer or a adorable individual. But you most definitely also have negative beliefs about yourself: You could believe that you are too fat or that you do not have sufficient education to earn much money or that you are not good-looking enough to get a lover. These are your Limiting Beliefs!

And we all have them! Without exclusions! You just have to "listen" to your self talk going on in your head! Is it always encouraging? I bet it is not. There will often be statements like "This won't work", "I am too stupid" or "If only I were smarter".

How do Limiting Beliefs guide to Self Sabotage?

Think about it! If you truly consider that you are not attractive enough to find a lover, you will most likely end looking for one. If you really think that you are not educated enough to get a great job, you will probably stop applying for the job you would like. This is the prime step of Self Sabotage.

It might even go further: Let's suppose you believe that you are not educated enough to find the job of your dreams. And for any factor (maybe your father, some friend or "fate" opened the opportunity for you) you DO get this job. If your Limiting Belief (not being educated enough) is strong enough, you will subconsciously be driven into actions that lead to your losing this job after some time. Maybe you will make stupid mistakes (mistakes that are untypical of you), perhaps you will unconsciously rouse problems which lead to your being late at work nearly each morning, who knows!

Limiting Beliefs lead to Self Sabotage! That is a fact! This is not a nature defect, it is only the way it is! And you might merely do one thing about it:
